CAFE CON LUCHA
Two things we need now more than ever are ...
coffee & solidarity.
LA LUCHA SIGUEÂ
Lucha means fight in Spanish. The word Lucha, to us, means solidarity and fighting for what's important. Our message and mission is to remind each other we are all worth fighting for, and while the struggle continues, we are all in it together.
OUR TEAM
DAKOTA SNOW

Owner & Barista Extraordinaire
Dakota spent her ten-year coffee-career playing house in other people’s coffee shops while developing and dialing in her own original additions to their menus, and sowing the seeds of this dream. She credits her love and passion for the industry to the communities she serves.
CHELSEA SNOW, CPA
Owner & Numbers B****
Chelsea is a licensed CPA and takes care of all things numbers for Cafe Con Lucha. While Chelsea was excited to start a business with her sister, it was the opportunity to create limitless numbers of spreadsheets and balance sheets that really had her commit.
PORTER TEEGARDEN

Owner & Biz B
Porter has a background in content production and CSR. She is part of Cafe Con Lucha so she can create (and consume boatloads of) consistently great coffee...oh, and now she can also use her MBA.
OUR ROASTER = EL MEJOR

Our most amazing roaster Milton Coreas has been roasting in the Bay Area for years. As a Bay Area Barista, Dakota drank a lot of different coffees, and Milton's was the most memorable coffee of them all. That's because Milton has a lasting love and passion for the magic of his craft. Milton roasts in San Leandro, and has been the supplier for a handful of trendy establishments around the Bay. He has worked with coffee all his life, from picking the plantations in El Salvador where he grew up to the roasting company he owns here now.

The original blends we have created with Milton were concocted together in the roastery, over many cups of coffee... probably some Papusas... ok, and maybe a Regia Grande.

WHERE WE SERVE & WHY IT'S AWESOME

We are the exclusive Coffee Vendor for The Village Hub in Woodside, CA. We LOVE The Village Hub coffee bar because it has played such a an pivotal part in the creation of Café con Lucha. This is the place which brought The Tres Luchadoras together. Dakota first held it down here at the Hub for a year from the spring of 2019 to the summer of 2020. Her sister Chelsea and fast friend Porter were both regular guests, who finally crossed paths shortly before the 2020 shut-down. Like many 2020 reboots, the Tres decided the only way to make it through lockdown was with superior coffee...and so Cafe Con Lucha was born. Our first venue at The Village Hub was made possible by the community leader and bad-ass boss lady of the Woodside Village Hub and church community - Pastor Ama - who shares the same fundamental mission and values we do. And all of us see coffee as a vehicle for community above all else - a worthy excuse to come together.
TESTIMONIALS
From the Source
As our whole family was home more during quarantine, our coffee consumption increased exponentially. Instead of spending a small fortune on coffee, we decided to start making our own coffee at home. It was time to look for good quality whole beans! Thanks to a friend's recommendation, we discovered Cafe Con Lucha and we were not disappointed. Their Lightning beans are our favorite to use for our French press. The smooth, bold flavor is the perfect blend for our family.

Hi Chelsea, Dakota, and Porter, Thank you so much for the same day delivery! On our end, we’re especially excited to have found such excellent coffee in our close community! :) You really have something special here. We’re big fans! Even Avery who is 20 months likes to try and sneak a sip!

Not the type of coffee that'd you'd walk away from and let get cold. Nice flavor. Satisfying.
