CULTIVATING COMMON GROUND
Coffee as we know and love it is made possible by two things: us - humans, and this earth. Without the hands growing, roasting, and brewing the beans, and you all faithfully jonesing for your flat whites, there would be no human chain through which to move this coveted fruit. It would remain an anonymous bush of blossoms and cherries dotting the mountainous tropics of this earth. And without the land it grows on, and the climate which sustains the coffee belt, and the tropical conditions we rely on in those regions (and yet we threaten every day), we would have no coffee either.
